Investment Firm’s Operational Excellence To Help SwipeClock Accelerate Growth in the Rapidly Expanding Workforce Management Market

July 6, 2017—Salt Lake City—SwipeClock LLC today announced it has been acquired by Inverness Graham, a private investment firm based in suburban Philadelphia. Inverness Graham chose to enter the rapidly expanding workforce management and human capital management (HCM) sector by investing in SwipeClock, a leading provider of simple and affordable timekeeping and scheduling solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses. The investment firm’s focus on operational excellence combined with SwipeClock’s accelerating growth is an ideal combination.

“We are excited to partner with the talented team at SwipeClock,” stated Trey Sykes, Managing Principal of Inverness Graham. “The company is well positioned with a purpose-built, channel-ready product and go-to-market strategy focused exclusively on its channel partners, which have traditionally been comprised of independent payroll providers, professional employer organizations, banks, and payroll software companies. We look forward to supporting the company both organically and through strategic acquisitions to create a human capital management platform that enables our partners to have a stronger, deeper relationship with their end customers.”

“We are excited about working with the leadership team at Inverness Graham,” said Coleman Barney, CEO of SwipeClock. “Their operational expertise combined with our very successful business strategy, market-leading workforce management solutions, and industry-renowned service and support will help accelerate SwipeClock’s growth even faster.”

Importantly, Inverness Graham added SwipeClock to its portfolio because of the company’s innovative channel support programs, intuitive product capabilities, and a world-class staff of experienced workforce management professionals—all of which will continue with the Inverness Graham investment.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
